Machined parts FLUOROCARBON ENGINEERING DIVISION offers extensive manufacturing facilities for high precision prototype and tooling production in low to medium batch quantities. In addition the division is happy to take on long term specialised machining contracts.

Scope of Production

The division predominantly serves the aerospace, defence, radar and telecommunications, hydraulics, pneumatics, food and drink manufacturing, chemical, oil, scientific and specialised plant industries.

Metals machined include stainless steels, aluminium and tool steels. Plastics include many Fluorinoid® advanced engineering materials amongst which are PEEK, PTFE and high performance polyamides.

The division is pleased to discuss machining of other specialist materials.

Manufacturing Facilities

The division can offer an extensive range of machining capacity including:

CNC machining centres with 4 axis capability.
CNC lathes with up to 20" swing, 65 mm bar capacity and full C axis control with mill/drill capability.
Conventional lathes up to 27" swing.
Vertical and horizontal milling machines with DRO.
Cylindrical and internal grinding and honing.

The division practices SPC and is constantly updating skills and workshop practices to satisfy customers' requirements.
