Pipe Linings and PTFE hoses range FLUOROCARBON HOSE LIMITED manufacture a comprehensive range of Fluoroline plastic hose assemblies and fittings for numerous industrial applications. High duty tubing is available in PTFE, PFA, FEP, PVDF and ETFE (Tefzel®). These materials allow operation over a wide temperature range, whilst offering outstanding chemical resistance and flexibility.

Wide Temperature Range Continuous satisfactory service at -75°c to +230°c.

Outstanding Chemical Resistance Unaffected by almost all known chemicals. Completely resistant to dilute or concentrated acids, caustics, hot laquers, solvents, fuels, oils, oxidising agents, gases, foods and drugs.

Resistance To Steam Erosion Provides long life and leak-proof operation to 250psi steam pressure (17 bars).

Flexibilty Flexibility is not impaired during long life at high or low temperature.

Economy In Service Considerable saving in replacement and maintenance costs can be achieved when hose is used to replace other materials.

Volumetric Expansion PTFE hose has low volumetric expansion assuring immediate response to system pressure changes.

Shelf Life Unlimited for all practical purposes.

High Strength Fluoroline® hose is over-braided with hard-drawn Stainless Steel wite to AISI 304. Manufactured to rigorous quality standards, this provides outstanding strength and reliability without detriment to flexibility. Other braiding materials are available on request.

Applications

Fluoroline® PTFE hose assemblies give excellent service to a wide range of industries such as the chemical, laundry and automotive industries. Applications include the following:-

High Performance PTFE Hoses

Single Braid 4020 and 6020 Series and Double Braid 4020D and 6020D Series
4000 series hoses are made from low crystallinity PTFE liner to maximise flexibility and permeation resistance. Available up to 7 m long. 6000 series hoses are produced in long lengths with higher crystallinity PTFE liner.

High Pressure 4520 and 6520 Series (Double Braid with PTFE Tape Interply)
4520D series hose is based on an aerospace hose conforming to MIL-H-38360B for high pressure (3000 psig) hydraulic and pneumatic service and is widely used in high pressure oxygen service (see general comments on 4000 series above). 6520 series hose is suitable for high pressure service but may be permeable to high pressure gases (see general comments on 6000 series above).

Ultra High Pressure Composite Kevlar Braid 8520 Series
These hose are only supplied as complete assemblies. The potentially very high working pressures make them unsuitable for use with standard PTFE hose fittings.

Convoluted D11000 Series
These hoses are available in a wide range of sizes, as hose or as unbraided tubing. They are ideal in lower pressure applications where extreme flexibility is required.
