MATERIAL REFERENCE – FLUORINOID® FL103
DESCRIPTION- GLASS FIBRE FILLED PTFE
FORMULATION- 85% PTFE, 15% GLASS FIBRE (BY WEIGHT)
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS- Glass fibre is the most commonly used filler for sealing applications. It gives improved compression and wear properties.
This material may be inert gas sintered to further improve creep properties and reduce porosity and gas permeability. There will be a consequent loss of tensile properties.
