FORMULATION- COPOLYMER OF TETRAFLUOROETHYLENE AND HEXAFLUOROPROPYLENE
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS- FL304 is a melt processible fluoropolymer with excellent chemical resistance and thermal properties, which are nevertheless not quite as good as those of PTFE. It has maximum use temperature of 205°C.
FEP films transmit a high percentage of ultraviolet and visible light and are much more transparent to the infrared spectrum than glass.
