Fluorocarbon Holdings Ltd acquires Prestige Industrial Ltd

1st July 2008 - Fluorocarbon Holdings Ltd announces the completion of its acquisition of Prestige Industrial Ltd, a leading UK bakeware manufacturer. Prestige had been serving the food industry for over 50 years.

Prestige Industrial Ltd was a subsidiary of BI Group Plc owned by National Industries Group SAK, Kuwait and operated as part of its UK specialist engineering division. It will now become part of the Fluorocarbon family.

Fluorocarbon Holdings Ltd is the parent company of Fluorocarbon Bakeware Systems Ltd and their depth of experience and long standing reputation in the industry ensures this friendly acquisition is the best opportunity to offer continuity of service to Prestige’s customers.

The Prestige brand will continue to trade under its own name and long term the synergies of bringing these two premium brand names together will offer an improved value proposition to customers enhancing quality, availability and value for money in the marketplace.
