PTFE Generator Hose

Fluorocarbon Hose Limited manufactures a wide range of hoses for hydrogen/water-cooled turbine generators.  The stator winding circuits are directly cooled by de-ionised water which is supplied from a distribution header via flexible PTFE hoses.

Generator hose assemblies typically comprise unbraided thick-wall PTFE tubing with stainless steel or phosphor bronze fittings swaged on each end.  The PTFE hose is formed into specific shapes to fit the generator.

• Resistivity: >10₁₇ Ohm (10 to the power 17) (virgin PTFE)

Stainless steel 316L (X2 Cr Ni Mo 17-12-2) or 1.4404 as per EN10088-3

Stainless steel 316 (X6 Cr Ni Mo Ti 17-12-2) or 1.4571 as per EN10088-3
Phosphor bronze to BS – EN 12163:1998 (CW451K-R390)
