Sheet & Tape

FLUOROCARBON SHEET AND TAPE DIVISION manufacture moulded sheet and skived tape in a comprehensive range of Fluorinoid® PTFE grades.

Skived Tape

Our skived PTFE tape is supplied 0.1 mm to 5 mm thick to a maximum width of 1220 mm. It is available in continuous rolls, cut sheets or slit to a specific width.

Moulded Sheets

Our moulded PTFE sheets are supplied 6 mm to 100 mm thick to a maximum size 1220 mm square. Sheets may be supplied as cut pieces or individual shapes.

Material Grades

Sheet and tape can be supplied in a wide range of Fluorinoid® PTFE grades both virgin and filled. Fluorinoid® virgin PTFE grades can include modified PTFE such as Dyneon®, TFM™ and Fluorinoid®. Filled grades can include such fillers as glass fibre, carbon, graphite, bronze, molybdenum disulphide and Ekonol™ both individually and in combination.

Special Products

Self-adhesive backed tape in four standard thicknesses (0.13, 0.25, 0.40, and 0.50 mm), 1000 mm wide. It can be supplied as continuous rolls and slit to specific widths.

Dimpled sheets either virgin or filled PTFE - 3.0, 4.5 or 5.0 mm thick and up to 1220 mm square. For bridge and pot bearings to European specification EN1337, available as 1200mm x 1200mm sheets 4.5mm or 5.0mm thick or cut to shape.

Fluoropack® PTFE/Cork laminate 2.5 mm thick and 600 by 1200 mm - for blister pack tools.

PTFE coated glasscloth available as 1000 mm wide rolls or slit to customers' requirements.

Tank and vessel linings - a range of sheet and tape in fluoropolymer materials for lining applications.

Special Services

Etching and Bonding - virgin or filled PTFE can be supplied chemically etched on one or both sides using the Fluoroetch™ etching process. Etched sheet can also be factory bonded within the Fluorocarbon group for the manufacture of Fluoroglide® slide bearings, skidways, expansion bearings etc.

Machining Service - sheet material may be cut to size or routed to a finished profile.

Gasket Cutting - a specialised service for cutting and punching gaskets is available.
